Vellangiri Gaushala Farm Visit – 2019

Ssvm World School organised a field trip to Velliangiri Gaushala on 2 August 2019. The students of classes 6, 7 and 8 got an opportunity to behold the sight of different breeds of cows and bulls. Students walked through the Gaushala and witnessed how injured cows and bulls were taken care of. The Gaushala and its inhabitants tell the story of a rural tradition that is fast ceding space to new realities. Overall it was an informative trip which not only catered into giving our students a learning disclosure but also developed a sense of compassion in them.
