The grand annual ceremony of Rhyme and Rhythm was held in MOSRIMAA Convention Centre at SSVM World School. This programme is conducted a competition to bring out the talent and confidence of the Kindergarten tiny tots.
The Chief Guest for Rhyme & Rhythm 2019 was Mrs. Chandra Khaturia, trainer coordinator of Trinity College, London. The whole programme was conducted by the students including compering. Iniya of Class II presented the welcome speech and Deeksha of Class I gave the felicitation speech honouring the chief guest. The School Correspondent, Dr. Manimekalai Mohan welcomed the chief guest and the judges – Mrs. Roshni Morris and Mrs. Rekha Dilip Kumar. The LKG students dressed up as Various cartoon characters, in pairs; like Chhota Bheem and Chutti, Popeye and Olive etc. UKG students were put up in two categories – boys represented their super heroes like Batman, Spiderman etc. and girls came dressed as sea creatures like jelly fish, octopus, stingray etc. The whole auditorium was hit up with colourful and extravagant costumes and props.
The guests were totally mesmerized and enjoyed their wards performance. The Chief guest, Mrs. Chandra, inspired the kids and their parents reinstating that each child in talented and we as parents and teachers should always guide the children to bring out their capabilities. The day was marked as a great success. Prizes for best attire, best cadence etc were distributed by the Chief guest. Overall trophy for LKG was won by Reeds World school and UKG was won by SSVM World School.
