Pongal Celebration 2020

“PONGAL IS THANKS GIVING OCCASION TO NATURE”

Pongal was celebrated with much enthusiasm. Students were looking very cute and stylish in traditional dresses and exhibited joy and pride. Students revived the festivity with their colourful folk dance and songs. Students participated in ‘uriyaddi’, the customary pot breaking session which culminated the day’s event. The Managing Trustee, Dr.Manimekalai Mohan, encouraged everyone to know the significance of Pongal, imbibe, adhere and uphold the traditional values. Students learnt that these festivals are sacred moments that help everyone to establish love and unity. We wholeheartedly thank the parents who enthusiastically supported this grand celebration.
