Kathai Galatta 2019

Storytelling is an art that has mental, social and educational benefits on children. Children are great fans of stories and love to listen to them. Ms Bongiswa from South Africa, a professional storyteller, Ms Jumaini Ariff from Singapore, a renowned storyteller and educator, and Ms Mabel Lee, a professional storyteller from Singapore synonymously revived storytelling traditions on 3rd September 2019, integrating it as an educational tool in the regular school curriculum. This fascinating story telling – Kathai Galatta – the session was replete with magical content and it created a sense of wonder among our students.
