Diwali Celebration 2019

“It is time to remove the darkness of ignorance within us and replace it with the light of hope and knowledge”

The festival of lights’ came alive at SSVM World School on the 25th of October, 2019 when the whole school gathered for the celebration. The Celebration commenced with a prayer song followed by a dance performance by the students of grade 5 & 6 with diyas. The boys of Class 5 & 6 won the hearts of the students with their lively western dance performance. Mrithika and Jaison of class 5 Presented a PPT on why we celebrate Diwali and sensitize the students about the ill effects of crackers. The programme wound up with a display of fireworks.
