Curtains Up on Nostalgia: A Retro English Theatre Fest | SSVMWS 2024

On November 8, 2024, SSVM™ World School had the privilege of hosting the much-anticipated ‘Retro Nostalgia: English Theatre Fest 2024.’ The event served as a dynamic platform for young theatre artists from eight schools, celebrating the art of drama and theatrical performance. With a blend of classic themes and fresh perspectives, the fest brought together a vibrant spectrum of talent, dedication, and creativity.

SSVM™ World School’s troupe delivered a captivating performance titled Chronicles of Chaos in the Quest for the Missing Crown. This original skit masterfully wove together humor, suspense, and a flair for the dramatic, capturing the audience’s attention from start to finish. Their performance did not go unnoticed, as they earned two distinguished awards: Best Audience Appeal, for resonating strongly with viewers, and Best Entertainer, for delivering a performance rich in engagement and energy.

The fest concluded with a celebration of outstanding performances across various categories, highlighting the dedication of students and their coaches in bringing quality theatre to life.
