What to expect
After registration, parents are called in for an interview. If your child is accepted, you can then proceed to pay the school fees as well as collect the stationery and study materials provided by the school.
Students who want to apply for pre-KG need to be at least 2 years and 8 months old by June 1. The minimum age requirement for LKG is 3 years and 8 months.
Applications can be lodged online. You have to pay a nonrefundable registration fee. Upon receipt of your application, you will receive an email or call from the administration office regarding the next steps.
Do note that SSVM World School and other educational institutions in the SSVM group are some of the most prestigious in India. They are some of the best names on any list of international schools in Coimbatore! Very few seats are available; thus, registration does not guarantee a seat. If there are no vacancies, you will be put on the waitlist.
Documents required
Be sure to prepare the following documents to make it easier to fill out the online application form:
- Scanned copy of your child’s birth certificate
- Report card and transfer certificate (if applicable)
- Copy of immunity certificate
- Two pieces of passport size photographs
- Aadhaar number
Other information required
To make the application process seamless, be prepared to provide information on matters such as:
- Name of the student’s parents and annual income
- Details about siblings (particularly siblings who are studying in SSVM institutions)
- EMIS number from the child’s previous school
- Date in place of birth
- Students mother tongue, nationality, religion, community, caste, blood group
- Second language opted
- Whether or not school transport is required
Make sure to provide accurate information. Admission may be cancelled if there are any discrepancies.
